We had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Sheridan from Brock University to Uberlândia. It was a great opportunity to showcase the initiatives our group has been working on and to strengthen research collaboration.

Professor Sheridan participates in meeting with NIATS students

On August 21, students had the opportunity to meet with Professor Sheridan. The meeting took place from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM in the amphitheater of Block 1E at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, located on the Santa Mônica campus of the Federal University of Uberlândia. During the event, each student had the chance to present their individual projects and share their progress.

We were pleased to have Professor Sheridan as the speaker at our seminar on computational intelligence for the generation and analysis of biological networks. The event took place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the amphitheater of Block 1E at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, located on the Santa Mônica campus of the Federal University of Uberlândia. It was open to the public and was attended by undergraduate and graduate students.

Professor Sheridan had the opportunity to explore UFU and visit some of the main places in the city of Uberlândia

Professor Sheridan had the opportunity to visit the Santa Mônica campus of UFU and tour laboratories associated with the Biomedical Engineering Graduate Program. This was a great chance for her to meet and connect with other researchers.

In addition, she can visit Sabiá Park, a beautiful place in the city of Uberlândia.
